Building a Stand-Off Fence on an Existing Barbed Wire Fence

Installing a single high-tensile electric wire to an existing barbed wire fence can prolong the life of an existing fence by keeping the livestock from rubbing up against it and can be used to carry electricity to another area of the farm. In this video, we demonstrate the techniques, tools and hardware required in order to properly install a stand-off wire on an existing fence, ensuring that it does not come into contact with the barbed wire and posts.
